Session one: The Missional Spirit The New Testament reveals the Spirit as the dynamic force and guide for the mission of God, beginning in Jerusalem, to Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). The loss of mission corresponds with a narrowed and tamed doctrine of the Spirit. The two diminishments go hand in hand.
